Patricia is a fifth-generation Californian, descended from Sylvanus G. and Jane C. Gale, Methodist ministers in the Retreat of Pacific Grove from 1890-1893. Patricia is also an author of two Monterey County Guides: Free and Fun Things to See and Do in Monterey County (1998) and one California guide to healthy food and walks: California Healthy (2007), an eco-travel guide that became the first-ever in-room green guide for Marriott Hotels, winning the 2008 IRWIN Award for the most creative ad campaign from the Book Publicists of Southern California. Her most recent books are under the Imprint of PACIFIC GROVE BOOKS, sharing the unique experiences of visitors and residents to the small seaside town. The proceeds from this Series benefit the Pacific Grove Public Library.

With more than 39 years of experience in the book industry, Patricia has been a book shepherd to nearly 300 self-published writers for close to 300 titles, in all genres. Joyce Krieg, Editor and Associate

Joyce is the author of three mystery novels published by St. Martin’s Minotaur—Murder Off Mike, Slip Cue, and Riding Gain. Previously a print and broadcast journalist in Sacramento, Joyce went on to teach classes in mystery writing at the University of California, Santa Cruz Extension and is currently the Secretary for the Central Coast Writers, a branch of the California Writers Club. Her current book, Pacific Grove at Your Feet: Walks, Hikes and Rambles, is very much in demand in the most-walkable town.

Peter Mounteer is a professional photographer focusing on the people, events, and locale in beautiful Pacific Grove. His work graces the colorful pages of Life in Pacific Grove Book #2: Deeper Connections and he will undoubtedly submit one or two photographs for Life in Pacific Grove Book #3: Butterflies by-the-Bay. Peter currently serves as the Marketing and Events Manager with the Pacific Grove Chamber of Commerce.
